A very pretty fall front bureau painted in Paris grey over Old Violet

This lovely solid fall front bureau has the usual brass drop down mechanism over three useful drawers. Cabriole legs add a touch of French style elegance. The pretty vintage handles have been lightly painted in Paris Grey to enhance their detailed design. Probably mid 20th Century in style and age this item has all the usual knocks and wear which add to its vintage charm.

The pull-down desk with writing area has been roughly painted to add texture and waxed for durability. Some of the original Mahogany finish has been left unpainted on the interior to add a bit of contrast. There are two mini drawers with original cream/white knobs perfect for keeping those precious items safe.

The drawers have been painted on the inside in Country Grey and lined with a vintage French style wallpaper. This piece has been lightly distressed so you can see the colour underneath for a vintage look. Sadly no key for the lock.
